Dallas to Jennings LA

I rode up to the NE corner of Dallas to visit Ed and Christine Kless and little Shaun their 2 year old giant. He was such a blast as we played a little footie in the garden. Christine taught the very first course I attended in an attempt by my partners to make me "tech-savvy". Ha! Total failure there guys! Christine was actually teaching us how to market our company as ACT! consultants. I still have her class training binder in my UK office! Ed was the instructor at the Sage Leadership Academy. That was very helpful to Mark Hammer, Rainer Hoffmueller and myself. My favourite line from Ed was "Try to think out of the box...DesignR1 try to get into the box occasionally!"

Little Shaun is only 2 and the height of a 10 year-old it seems. He's certainly brighter than me. (OK Hammer I know that's not difficult!)

Christine cooked up a storm and I pigged out on the pork! They have a GINORMOUS house and it's beatifully done. I LOVED the matt-black bathroom! I'm all inspired now and want to go home and start decorating. I rode to Corsicana that night and caught up on things. I worked late and headed off to Houston to pop in on a customer of ours. More later... they are throwing me out of this sweaty Louisiana motel...

James - Wow that little Shaun must be huge. It was kids like him that ended my racing carrer. I personally couldn't stand getting beaten by 16 year olds. Of course it didn't help that I was old, fat, and slow. Looking forward to hear about the rest of the trip. Be Safe, wheels down, traggin knee's.
