Blog and photos by Garrett FultonBefore we left Minneapolis, we took a day off and headed to the Minnesota Zoo.It was a beautifully sunny day in what was otherwise a miserable spring which followed an equally miserable winter.
What we had hoped would be a relaxing outing turned to mild chaos as the zoo was so over run with kids enjoying their first week off of school. Throngs ran about your legs and were easily underfoot, baby strollers blocked walkways and windows to exhibits were smudged with endless sticky icecream prints and puckered lips.
Still, the Minnesota Zoo, (MNZoo.com) is one of my favorite locations to while away a summer day.
